Can someone walk me through a manual set up on a t 180 esc

I need help doiong the set up on my T 180 esc. What has to be hooked up in what order having some problems. thanks for all the help. I dont know where my problem begins either my radio and reciever dont woork with the esc. Or im just total out in left field trying to do this set up

First off, if you have a "pistol style" radio you must have the throttle channel set to reverse. Secondly, make sure your throttle trim is at neutral, err on the side of reverse to be safe. To go into programming mode you need to have your TX at full throttle while you connect the batteries...........hold it there until you hear the "music", then it will give one beep..............2 beeps..............etc......... If you want to set a parameter, drop it to neutral ofter that corresponding "beep" to get into the setting you want.......then you are in that mode and you will have beep sequences in there too. Once there, you will be in Neutral and when you get to the setting beep you want, give it full throttle..........music chimes and drop to neutral and you are done with that particular parameter.

does the esc need to be hooked up to the reciever (im sure) I get no beeps or music no sound what so ever

Yes it needs to be hooked up just like you were going to run it. TX on, batts plugged in, motor connected etc....................

You may have a bad ESC..................its not rocket science to program it.
