    Monitoring Temps

    Hi Guys,

I would like to start monitoring my temps on my AQ Motley Crew so I can experiment with different props. I have seen a lot of different systems but I figure I would ask what you guys are using. I have the stock ESC and motor for now (Not sure if that matters or not).

    Thanks!!

Starting point may be something like this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHEM4
I use one to monitor and record the peak motor temp on my Genesis (and also on my Emaxx RC truck) But it only does one channel so can't do ESC as well.
Then I guess you move up into more sophisticated systems like Eagletree etc.

I have an EagleTree and it is well worth the cost if you plan to run a lot of elecrtic and build your own systems. It will monitor 3 temps, volts, amps, RPM and watts at up to 10 samples per second through out your run. When you're done you can download to your computer and look at the results on a graph. It is also the heart of their First Person View (FPV) OSD Pro system that puts you in the Pilots/Drivers seat of your RC stuff which is so cool. I use it on my planes, boats and trucks. Saved me more than a few motors and ESCs.
