    RC boat starts slow then takes off

    Buddy of mine has a RC boat,,,give it throttle and it goes so slow then all of a sudden it takes off. Check flex shaft and all. Boat is electric. Any suggestions.

      sometimes that is normal.
      Modified Jae21, Stock Jae21, Cheetah, Ul-1, Shock Wave 26 V2 (Rescue Boat).

          Sounds normal. The prop cavitates and then catches up. What prop? Have you tried other props?

              The ESC may be set at soft start.
