The C-rating is low on all the packs above 2200mah.
For example, the 10,000mah pack is only 5c discharge...not good. These are not a good source for boat batteries IMO>

ok so a 5C discharge would be a 50 amp discharge on a 10000MAH battery. 50 AMPS is too small? How much current do I need?

Heck Daveo if you are running a A SuperVee 50amp continus is plenty. Keep in mined that is under perfect conditions with a stock prop 10 more c will protect you if you snag some weeds in the prop or over prop.

i recommend them if you know what your doing and are trying to learn more about lipos, i also recommend them if they seller on ebay has good feedback on that exact item throughout there feedback

I am running a super vee with the stock motor and the metal version of the stock prop. I saw that guys on the Traxxas forum were using them for their VLX rustlers but i could not find if they were working OK for them. I am really just looking for good run time and the ability to get the boat on plane.

Dave I say pick up a single set and give them a shot. I think you may be ok here. I have run 12 to 16c packs in my SV with no problems.

I think what Taylor is asking is...to do what? We don't know what you're using the batteries for.
generally it is a good idea to have batteries over 20c for boats, specifically for racing, but it still holds true for hard sport running. I dunno about 10000mah, but my 5000mah batteries have 30c discharge. last years' batteries are 20c. 5c, even on a 10000mah pack seems pretty darn low.

either way, they're cheap enough you can follow SJFE's suggestion and test 'em out. just be careful and charge in a safe area.

I want to run them on my super vee 27 with stock prop and stock motor. I was looking a thunder power 8000 amp hour batteries but the $124.00 price tag is hard to swallow. But the $44.00 per battery is much easier on the heart.

Keep in mind that if you burn them all the time due to overdraw, it'll become the same price tag of a decent pack. Besides, 10k packs are pretty big, specially with the old technology of the 5c packs make sure to measure the place and the pack you will be using. I have nothing against trying new cells but I have to go with the guys on this one,
5C, 12C is a very low discharge rate, specially with todays amp sucking motors... BTW what is the setup on your SV ?
