                She was given to me by a friend. I am not into shovel nose hydros. I don't know what to do with her, besides the obvious motor replacement.

                    my 1/10 scale is really light...about the same as my SV hull, maybe lighter. I thought it'd be a dog too, and I'm definitely more of a mono guy, but they run really well with a SV power system. I'm right around stock SV speeds.
                    ...and it is the most fun boat to drive in my entire fleet!

                        If that boat is what I think it is, it weighs about 6 1/2 lbs empty. All 1/8 " ply (except for the deck)and lots of it.

                          Actually, that is a cool looking boat but whether it is worth to upgrade is a another story, but I would. I love those big old boats. I would use ...sign of the cross...a gas engine.
