    To Upgrade or Not?

Hey, I am relatively new to boating (1 yr. experience), but have been in the RC Hobby for years. Currently I'm running a ProBoat Mini-V modified with flex cable, turn fins, trim tabs, and a Neu 1105 / Quark 33Pro to boot.

First off, I love the ease of the size and the power of this little setup. I wish it could handle the rougher water a little better, and the power of the brushless setup.

I've been thinking of buying a MHZ Gecko to drop the electronics into, however, it is about the exact same size hull. I suppose my question is, will it be worth the money or should I just stick it out with the Mini-V.

I initially intended to try a H20 UFO mono, however I can't seem to find much information on them anymore.

    Thanks

I think the gecko has a flood chamber on it that would help with rough water and turning over

PM him and get opinions on the H20 if that is what I think it is?

I'm really looking for the best platform for a 380c brushless setup, and quite frankly I'm scared running my Neu and Quark in what seems to be a subpar hull (mini-v).

I have no experience building boats, but I can assemble and solder flex drives. A hull with full hardware and no electronics would be nice, but things get pricey.

I've looked at BBY (abs), MHZ, Hydro&Marine. I figure picking up a used boat would be a great idea, yet people tend to hold onto this little buggers.
