I ordered $50 something of stuff from there last week and had it in 3 days. Never a problem and I'm in Buffalo, N.Y. I have never had an issue with Jan and shipping times. He refunded me partial payment because they were out of stock on water pick up's and shipped the remaining parts the same day. Did they respond to any e-mail's? [email protected], [email protected]. Postmaster here says is about a 9-14 day turn around from the states to Canada. Customs has been rather picky lately. I sent a package to BC about 3 weeks ago and it took just over 2 weeks to get there. Ont should be much less. Unfortunatly unless you send UPS, USPS has no way of tracking it beyond customs. Once it hit's CA it's anybody's guess. They have problems with Canada post worse than we do in the states. I agree it has been a long time to wait though. Sorry to hear about the bad experience. Maybe give another try another time :) If same result, wash your hands.

The rare issue has happened with back ordered items. He probably delayed your order so he didnt have to pay shipping to Canada twice. I dont think anyone can blame him there. If he shipped twice to you for only one shipping it charge your order would probably cost him money, not made any.

However communication is key. He should let you know whats up when the issue is discovered.

I sent an email question in and didnt hear back for two weeks. So I went and bought everything somewhere else... But Im back ordering with Kintec. They simply have a selection of desirable parts nobody else has, period.

I have had him delay shipping while waiting for a part to come in stock and didn't tell me till I emailed him a week later. That being said his service over all has been good for me, I placed an order on the 12th and it shipped the 13th. But shipping does take forever to get north of the border. Have you tried HOR for the drive shafts? I ordered some .187 from him in the spring and they have been great. But his comunication is horrid! I placed my last order on the 12th as well to get my AC cat done and it showed pending till the 18th, then showed that it shipped on the 13th, will be here today.

I have had probably 6 or 7 orders with Kintec in the last 12 months, for shipment to Australia. Most have come through quick and fine with no problems. A few were delayed due to Jan waiting for parts to arrive. However I didn't receive any notification that that there would be a delay unless I sent an e-mail to chase it. I have also found that emails requesting further information or queries/questions on parts can remain unanswered (but not always), so I don't bother asking any more.

Bottom line:- I think Kintec offer an excellent range of products at competitive prices, that include some things not available on OSE. But their "service" as regards promptness of response to requests for product info/queries or shipment info can be poor at times. However, I believe they are honest and trustworthy and I will most certainly continue to use them.

I haven't had any problems and I have ordered at least half a dozen times and it always arrives within 4 to 5 days. I live in Rochester, NY. There have been times when items have been back ordered but the longest time I have waited has been two weeks. I actually placed another order this morning :)

Update- I spoke too soon, just got an email from Paypal stating my order from Kintec has shipped! I guess everyone operates a little differently, and I get anxious when I don't receive email conformations. I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions so quickly.

Driftah check out this place http://www.usaddressinc.com/ they charge $5 per parcel. I use them all the time and just go pick it up, most places do free shipping in the us so I save tons and most stuff doesn't require duties or taxes at the border.

A few of us here in the Edmonton area have ordered from Jan over the Past couple years and he has been great to deal with. No problems with Kintec Racing here.
