    Neu motors ?

Why are neu motors so much more expensive then the others and whats so great about Hacker
    motors?
From what I'm seeing in here, their are alot of folks running neu motors, or is it just the pros I'm seeing running these motors.
If I save enough cash I was looking at the neu-1509 2y 1820kv motor on sale here and how would a impulse 31 run on this boat?
I just got a pb1500kv from luv6s here and am planning to put it in the impulse on 5s with a t120with a m445 prop.
BTW LUV6s(Shawn) is a great guy to deal with, thank you shawn!

Neu motor are higher quality and hand wound I believe. They make some of the more efficient and powerfull in runners. Definitely worth the cost.
If all of your wishes are granted, many of your dreams will be destroyed!

Neu are much better all around. Bearings are larger and can handle more rpm and thrust. Hand wound and much more efficient. I would go with 1515 1y

you get what you pay for. BTW 1509 is to small. 1515 would be better but if you want to race you need the 1521. Hackers used to be good but
there are much better alternatives these days.

way better motor and i think a 1512 or 1515 castle motor might surprise you, also as a 1509 might be a little (tapped out on that boat) short can and no headroom if you wanted to go a little hotter. just my opinion

Good info guys thanks, I'll take a look at the 1515 1y.
Not racing just want a good motor.
I am happy with my leo 2200 kv in my UL-1 and also looking at the leo 3674 1900kv for the impulse.
also now have the pb 1500 which I feel is a dependable motor also.

                      Well I hit 59 mph on 4s with a m445 and a stock 60 amp pb esc.
that was the best speed I got, I used a t120a esc and lost speed down to 55 mph, dont know why but put the 60 amp back in and got higher speeds.
I guess its in the timing, as the pb 60amp only has high and low timing and the t120a is adjustable, still playing with it but the pb esc is giving me better speeds, go figure.

I wonder if you could run the 3674 2650kv on 4s in the ul1?

2600-2700KV is a 3s set up,28.860-29.970rpm according to the voltage chart on this site( some were) so I would think you would be pushing it.
I am by far no expert and learn by my screw ups, @ a price if you get my meaning,
so no the 2650kv on 4s would be pushing it.
oh boy I can see it now that others will be giving their input, lets see,
