    Twin t120 escs setup

Just a quick question that I have been thinking about for a few weeks im not to sure on the answer.

Do I need a y cable to conect two esc for a twin setup for the servo, and where do i buy one from? or can i make one up
i think i need to cut/remove one of the red wires from one esc but not 100%
    any help would be great.

yes, you need a Y servo harness.
you can get a Y servo lead from you rlocal hobby shop.

once the ECS's are programmed and the throttles are calibrated, you can THEN
remove the red lead from the plug going to the receiver. (from the Y harness.)
you can then run a seperate battery pack for the receiver and steering servo.

        Here's an option......

Grab 2 male/female servo extension cables.. cut them in half, through away one of the male halves.. join the remaining 3 together with color match..protect joins with heatshrink ... there's your esc Y cable... at the right length for your application... easy !

You can leave the red wires on the T120 esc connected as they are switchmode BEC, and avoid the need for a Rx batt...

        Outrunners prefer low timing
