Going with a mono...which hull though?

    Hey Guys,

Well, after some thinking I've decided to go with a mono hull. I'm down to 4 choices and was wondering what you guys think would be the best choice in terms of performance, stability, ease of set-up, etc. My choices are BBY oval master 26, BBY phantom 8, Delta force 26, and the Delta force mini sniper. Let me know what you think.

    Cheers,

    Mike

Ive had a few BBY boats. They were good, but to make them better requires work to sharpen the lines since they are plastic and the form was on the inside.

The other two models are fiberglass. I didnt one the DF 26, rather a knock off type product. It was nice boat and handled awesome. However it is small at 26".

The mini sniper looks like a nice boat if you are in for mini. Just understand the smaller boats cant take the stuff the larger ones do, including waves. I started out as a mini guy- but water conditions kept me off the water to much.

I just ordered a mini sniper from OSE and plan on running it with a 540L to make it a hot-rod. It was either that or your other choice the DF26 which is ironic...................the DF is a bit bigger and can handle bigger water/chop.

The DF26 is almost 'magical', it performs better than it should. Ones in the club handle rough water amazingly. For a boat in that size range it would be my choice.

I just got the Fighter Cat 26" Bling Rocket to be used as a rescue boat. Looks just like my 26" knock off... Down to ID numbers in the hull.

Fluid is correct. Even in the hands of a newb it flew.

Delta Force make great hulls.....buy an original from them and not from people who have tried to copy the design.
