    stop a spinning teflon tube

Can anyone give me any pointers on how to stop a spinning teflon tube? I cleaned it of lubricants but it still spins a bit. Puzzled at this point. Thanks.

Just wrap some plumbers ptfe tape around the tube in 3- 4 places along its length, this works by the way.

To elemenate teflon spinning. Remove teflon tube and install larger .187 cable and collet. I like Kintecs smaller 5mm x .187 stainless collet. Use lots of lube.

If you can clean the OD the Teflon and the ID of the stuffing tube you can use some CA or some Loctite 638. Eventually both will come loose, but it takes some time.

Clean the cable, use spray on glue, holds the tube in place, but still possible to remove it e.g. spray oon quiki grip
