Burned up another one, why?

With a feiago 1090kv motor,2 pole and a t180a running in a bj 26 on 6s with a x645 tetounged and back cut s & b prop,
boat was running fine then stoped.
opened it up only to see that the coating on the cap wires burned off and every thing was really hot execpt the batterys.
all I can think of is that the motor bearing failed and locked up the motor and the voltage kept tryihg to push it then took out the esc.
motor turns by hand to one point then it feels like it hits a hard spot.
the coating on the extra set of cap wires burned off, esc was very hot.
any clue why this happened,
cooling lines are all clear.
I can't help to thing that the motor failed and took out the esc also.

I doubt that the motor bearing caused the problem, but I suppose it is possible. More likely the motor threw a magnet or has a broken magnet, ripping up the windings. THAT will take out an ESC pronto. Pop open the motor and look at the rotor, you should see the problem.

Man this gets spendy, now I need two motors and another esc, one for the BJ and one for the impulse when it gets back from paint.
still have a new t120 left.
looking at the leo 3674 1900kv for the impulse on 4-5s, no more 6s for me, yea right!
and get another 1500kvpb motor for the bj

Well I took apart the motor and sure as s@#t the rotor magnet broke in half, shorted out the windings and took out my new t180a esc with only 4 runs on it, DAM.
