    Programming FC ESC 2-8s 240A

    I'm trying to program a friends twin shocker ESCs. I used the USB link to program. When I connect the USB link to ESC the motors beep as they should, I write the programming to the two ESCs one after the other. Hook everything up ready to go but neither of the motors don't want to power up. The receiver is getting power, servo works as it should. The ESCs are the FC 2-8s 240A, motors are the TP 4092s 1600kv. I try powering up one at a time but no go. I have the same ESCs in my fantasm with twin 1717s and programming was quick and easy, everything works great. What am I doing wrong with this one?

    Bodden;
    once the programming is done, then hook up everything like you are going to run it in the water.

    THEN power everything up. THEN pull the trigger and HOLD it until the motors spin up (takes aprox. 7-10 sec.). THEN IMMEDIATELY
    LET GO OF THE TRIGGER. It is a safety feature on the esc's is all.

    once you do that then chuck it in the water and go for it.

    when you change out the lipo packs you do have to do it again. (the trigger pulling)

    also make sure the timing is set properly. D wind: 3-5 deg and Y wind: 5-10 deg

    those TP4092 1600kv motors are D wind and should be 3-5 deg.

          My 16-400 would not find neutral consistently until Mark F. told me to leave Reverse ON and make the delay 5 sec.
          The instructions actually hint at this when it says - leave reverse on so Radio can find nuteral, then power back up and turn nuteral off.

            ok
            sounds good

            havent run into that as yet with any that I presently have.

            All mine are run with reverse off and works a charm.

              Well it worked, had to hold it in reverse for 7-10secs, then it worked then just made the change on the remote.

              Thanks, testing tomorrow evening, post some video ASAP. Let you know how a shocker does with twin 4092s on 8s x 2 I hope, running 645 CR props from FC.
