Thanks Jay for the the words of advice, its people like you that make this forum such a great thing to be a part of, people think these boats sre just toys, and they are, but there is so much more to the hobby, its so interesting and a challange, theres no one I know from where I live thats into FE boats, that kinda stinks. I am glad to be a part of this and thanks for the help you have given me, Shawn.Comment

I'm confused here Mike.................
First you stated this: "When i get to the water and toss in the Heat cutoff wont let it run."
then this: "within 5-6 minutes I believe its cutting off for high temp"
So is it cutting off immediately or after 5-6 minutes?NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE:http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

Did you buy that Apparition used or from an online site? That motor is a china special that comes in the Apparition and Genesis stock boats. It's possibly a 1620kv, but most of the time those RTR boats are setup for 4s and are 2050, 2200, or 2450kv. If 2000kv+ its way too hot for 6s. That's not your current problem. How many beeps do you get when you turn it on? Your esc might not be set for 6s. It should beep 6 times.Comment
