Anyone here running the Radtek 92?

Been in talks with them on buying one,

Just curious if there are others out there running them. If so what power plants are you running?

    Thanks

I am certainly not made of money, but I am the type that I will save and plan the entire build prior to spending the first dollar.

I have don't the same thing with my bajas I run.

      Great forum here

You might give Mark F a shout at [email protected]. He collaborates with Radek on builds.

I built one for one of Radeks customers and I used 2 Neu 2230 1y motors, 2 castle HV 200 amp sc. 12s 65000 lipos per motor and 2 6518 prop shop 3 blade props. Speed is in the high 80s. Radek uses Lenner 3080 motors. I'm not sure how well less expensive motors would work in a 40lb boat. There very cool boats thats for sure.

              Thanks Mark,

I was also thinking of running the Neu 2230 motors

Spending 3K on a 92" is to be honest a "little optimistic".

So far most used the LMT 3080 engines, big HV ESC's and some serious amount of cells, up to 12S4P per motor giving a total of 96 cells.

You may check the setups listed on Hanspeters website:

                  regards,
                  Manuel

Manuel do you own one of these?

I would love to pick your brain!

                    3k is no where close
