    Shrink wraping a esc

    I need to get some shrink wrap to do a couple of esc's, what is the size to get, its a 200 amp esc about 40mm wide, anyone got a link?

    I dont recommend the cheap vinyl or PVC types for a speedo. They get too hot. Buy one of the better Olefin industrial types. As far as links, theres a herd. OSE carries heat shrink, HK, Ebay, many sources. You need to measure the circumference to gauge the size you need since heigth is as important as width. And allow for clearance. A typical 40mm wide speedo will likely use 70 to 80mm wide heat shrink. Maybe even as large as 100mm. And most quality heat shrink has at least a 2 to 1 shrink ratio. Most have more. I like the 3M brand the most. Material consistancy, mil spec, heavy wall and reasonably priced.

      They have 40mm and 50mm on HK and I think that size is after shrinking, but I am not 100% sure of that, thats kinda the problem.
