fc in sponson square motor mount thrust bearings?

Been checking out the water cooled in sponson motor mounts from fc i am running t600 size motors and have 6mm to. 187 couplers. Thing is i like running thrust bearings, does anyone know if thrust bearings will work or are needed? Thanks guys this is probably a question for ben at fc but wanted to see if anyone had experience with these mounts.

Without a thrust bearing, these helicopter motors take the full force of the prop shaft in a boat on that little circlip on the shaft. I've had one twist itself out of the groove & the whole can & armature moves back from the front plate. Only as far as the gap between the drive dog & the strut would allow, but it wasn't good. But the thrust bearing needs to rest against the motor mount, not the circlip.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!
