    Jae21 speed predictions?

So i bought a jae21 fe rigger that is 90% built. I want to put a neu 1415 1y motor in it with a 200 amp esc. I plan on running one four or five cell pack. Do any of you guys have experience with a similar setup? I'm asking because i want to get an idea of how fast the boat will be with this setup. I'm staying away from the ul-1 motor and esc cuz I want more than 50 mph.

    Thanks for the help!

Chuck E Cheese ran that motor in his Jae21 and gps'd it at 57 on a small pond. He said it had at least another 5mph in it, so you're probably looking at mid to high 60's like Danny said. He also said that setup was a battery killer, so use good high c packs.

that is correct, i would think you were safe in predicting mid 60's plus. the whole problem with the set-up was batteries. it pulled high amperage and smoked batteries. i was using cheap stuff (turnigy 40c 5000mah). i would put high quality cells, as big as possable. i also was under proped on mine due to the battery issue..
            good luck with it!!

If I do get a very good battery, will it still get me a decent number of runs?

yes... just stay within the limitations. a 1415 uses alot more battery than a ul1 or spec motor..

Ok does anyone have good recommendations of motors faster than the ul-1 but not battery killers?

                      jae21fe fast setup

I got a TP 4060 2600KV(4200watt motor) with swordfish 200A esc and zippys 4s 5000mah 45c batteries, prop octura m645 race trim 80mph+ this boats are amazing to run ul1 systems in them is waste of talent in my opinion ,im in Australia a guy here did a 57 second heat with a jae21 nitro that's 5 laps 1.5 km oval race , i only race with this setup and my batteries have no problems.
