    Cooling jackets for Lipo's?

Maybe this has been discussed so sorry if this is redundent. We all see and read about cooling mods/options for ESC's and Motors yet I don't see anything in regards to cooling options for lipo's batteries. I understand that if all your prop choice, ESC and Motor choice is perfect, everything else should be ok but what about keeping the lipo's in "Check"? Higher C rating is good but still a nice "insurance" option would be nice to see and use.

Anyone know of such a option?

Lipos need to be warm to perform best....if they are hot, then your setup is wrong. Cooling would be in-efficient and counterproductive.

110-120 degrees on the batteries is what the average has been for each set up I have yet when flying rc planes, airflow to help keep the liop's "cooler" means all the diff. When the batteries are in the boat, it has nothing to keep it cool as everything is sealed up thus no airflow. I figured a cooling jacket would be a "Nice" addition but I need to watch when I run as air temps in recent days have been 106-110 degrees and water temps seem to be bathwater temps....

AS the temperature goes up in a lipo the resistance goes down, sounds backwards but thats the way it works. The data I've read claims temps of 120-140 for best results.
Capacity actually goes down with lower temps as well.
So cooling packs can actually cause problems not solve them.
I was surprised a few years ago when I found out some of the SAW racers heat their packs up before a run!
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Cooling LiPo is a non-sense idea: usually we heat packs before to use in winter... specially on planes because at 300ft temperature is so low...
