So, I started my first "major" thread recently and am GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY, at the least, of responding to bashing by antagonizing some members. SORRY. I will edit/remove my posts. I totally agree with the turd wrestling advice!

Well It looks like I have to open up this thread again. It seems that there are some who haven't read, don't want to read or who think they are "rebels" when it comes to the forum rules. This is especially so of the swap shop.
Please don't post an ad without a pic. Please don't do daily bumps, ask for separate paypal fees and please don't chit chat, harass a seller, ask his dogs name, what brand toilet paper he uses or any other non item related questions.
Come on people. the rules aren't that many or that hard to understand. I would venture to say even a cave man can follow them. Arguing with a mod on forum rules is not going to make you a hero or immediately change a rule.
And disrespecting one could have negative benefits for those who participate. Let's keep this forum as one of the funnest\Greatest forums on the net for our hobby and just a great place to hang out.

I say just delete it. Its simple. The shop is free, we dont ask much from people.

It shouldn't need to be a rule. People should be grown up enough and have the common sense to be able to talk to people in a way that is civilised. I bet they wouldn't talk to people's faces in a nasty way, it's easy to hide behind a forum screen name!

Using and being a member of this forum is a privilege, not a right. My mom told me if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all. Repeated offenders should be suspended and expelled if the rules are not followed. Really, it's not hard to be polite.
