i have a oberto that i am putting together. iam building hardware (pretty sad btw.) iam going to use a drill motor. that reads .30 v @850rpm so i think [email protected] can anyone help me find a fast sut up?and any advise on ecs
does anyone know how to get a johnson motor going?

I put a 14.4 (if I remember right) out of a Craftman drill.
I was using it for a mach up motor to build around.
A scratch built 21 inch cat.
Stuck 12 cells in it just to try it out.
It ran so well, it's still in the boat.
I have another old drill of the same size if that one blows.
Hey, a free motor is a free motor.
Years ago, before I messed with boats, I worked in the hardware section at Sears.
When people came in wanting replacement battery packs, I'd shoot them the price.
After hearing the price, they'd get mad and tell me to just keep the @%$& drill.
Wish I had now.

I'm just running a micro switch off a servo.
I'll have to look at the prop.
I think it's the one I pulled off my Aqua jet.
Like I said, this is a low budget boat.
Homemade hardware and drive system.
Never got around to painting it even.
