I was going to guess 80's also with the bottom vid being slightly slower (within 5 mph maybe). I've seen pictures of this boat and it is a work of art.

I was right guys. Last weekend I took this thing to the test pond on lower voltage and compared props. The higher pitch props were definitley faster at the same RPM.

Today I decided to throw the kitchen sink at it. I basically set it up at the RPM of the faster video, but with the higher pitch props...the results were impressive. Uploading video now.

So we take this thing out and test it...I took it out and made a couple passes. It looked fast, so brought it back in to check the GPS.
I was more than happy with the number, so after disconnecting the lipos and making sure everything was at ambient temperature, I ran it again, but grabbed the camera out of my car to video the run. Well, I did get a cool video, but I got a little too greedy. I thought that during the first runs it was still gaining speed when I lifted on the throttle, so I wanted a big run to really get the numbers up there. I made my first pass, which was pretty good, but I was 1/3 into the lake by the time I started really accelerating, so I made a second pass the other way. Going that way I couldn't tell how close I was getting to shore on the other side, so I lifted a little early. I turned around to make yet another pass (I'm not stopping to let my wake dissapate...just making hot laps)...and I stopped a little short. I had a tiny bit of left rudder input the whole way trying to stay away from pointing towards the shore, and when I let off I think it upset the hull. It was either that or crossing my own wake. Tough to tell.

The speed on the GPS for both runs was 101, but I think I might be able to get a little more if I made the perfect pass. The props are really loading the motors now so it just keeps accelerating.

By the way, to anyone who would like to dispute my GPS reading, or the accuracy of GPS, ect. Get lost. Any d-bag responses will result in immediate banning from my tree house, even if you know the secret word.

I just wish I had ran a little closer to the camera...it looks slower on video because it was so far away. It's tough though. That huge area seems really small not only at that speed, but when you know it takes 100 yards to stop after you let off the throttle.

Looking at that rudder, it's a tribute to how well you built built the boat. The stingers must have also taken a massive side load and they are purely cantilever mounted. Nice work on a boat you had your doubts about as far as handling early on.
