Hello All

Just A quick intro My Name is Nic I am from south africa.

New to boats did not think i would like it but now Im hooked I have 2 Traxxas Spartan boats I opted for them because they had castle electronics, should not have bought based on that
I also bought a joysway invincible razor proper chinese but seems better than the spartan

Non of them running all need new ESC's cant seem to find something reliable for 6S

Anyway thats me look forward to getting to know you

Welcome to OSE forum Nic.
You will find all kinds of info here on just about anything you need and get alot of answers to your questions.
check out hobbyking.com and look at the turnigy 180 esc it said it can handle 6s but you might want to go alittle bigger for a safety margin say a 200 amp esc, I my self run the t180 on 5s most of the time and now and then 6s with no problems.

The T-180 esc has really been a great esc. I am even running 6s on a Q-hydro and so far no problems. At the low price it sells for you cannot go wrong. Steven sells them here at OSE and they are (Ver 3) which means they come with a seperate capacitor bank in addition to the ones mounted directly on the ESC which can't hurt. Welcome aboard. The nationals electric boat races are going on right now as we speak in the USA so the site may be a bit more quiet this week/weekend.
