    Hi guys i have the above boat bought new the motor packed in and I decided to upgrade to a in runner 3500kv I was advised to use a 60amp esc so I bought a seaking, the boat ran for 2 mins yesterday the brown wire from motor melted and one batt. wire to deans conn. came apart I was using a 3cell 11.1 2200 25-50c lipo. is this a mis match. any help appreciated. thanks.     Your now running way to high rpm with 3500kv on 3s (39000 rpm unloaded) & to big prop if your using the original prop that drawing to many amps & melting the solder. The original motor is 1520kv on 3s (17,0000 rpm unloaded) which will push the larger prop. Try a smaller prop & check temps.

      thanks for quick reply Im new to all this and listened to someone with quite a lot of r/c experience or so I thought can you recommend a suitable prop/ Kevin
