Anyone ever cracked a drive dog?

After doing some parts inspecting, and cleaning up one of my boats.
i noticed that my drive dog was cracked.


suprised the heck out of me.
its been on there for about a gallon.
so im not sure when it happened or how it happened


Anyone else have this happen to them?

Yup, on my V-24 Electric, I still have it I think, I'll have a look tonight a post a pic.
