Fighter Cat 8S 300 Amp ESC

Anyone have any experience with these ESC's. What is the 4 wire connector for? Data logger maybe? Programming box? These ESC's seem to be awesome except they have no instructions what so ever. That's the only downfall I've found.

It should come with a pink instruction sheet. The FC ESC is very easy to use, especially with the programmer. Leave the 4 Wire connector alone, it isn't for the consumer. If you haven't purchase the handheld programmer it'll be a good investment and makes life easier, works with all fightercat esc. I have 3 FC ESC and they perform very well.

yeah my friend here in town has the programmer. I build and repair his boats so he lets me use his programmer no problem.

I ran one with the BEC and it smoked, the amperage output of it is not enough for a high torque servo acoording to Ben. He sent me a new 200a 16s as a replacement. Run an RX pack.
NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

Yes I have an RX batt tray already built in. 6V 1600 mah I'm running one HV 130oz metal gear low profile servo. But thinking of adding a second rudder and servo for a dual steering setup. so def. need the Rx batt. So to use the Rx battery I just remove the + lead on the ESC Rx wire?

ESC Programming using the Program Box.doc

The 4 wire plug is for Firmware updating only.

and above all, get the program box.

Above are the instructions I originally did for Ben.

MAKE SURE AND DO THE PROGRAMMING WITH A 3S PACK. (THINGS will warm up
very quickly is you use higher voltages for programming.) Just a safety thing is all folks.

they are available in German and also Italian and I believe in French as well.
