Help me pick a FE cat? Genesis, aquacraft MC, proboat MG?

Impulse 31 is the ticket.
The OP needs to decide what he wants the boat to do. Does he want to race? Sport run? Try for the highest speeds? Does he have a large lake to run on, or a tiny pond? What amount of run time does he want? Speeds? What is his budget? All these need to be known before choosing the "best" FE cat. Otherwise he risks spending his money and not being happy...we want to minimize that risk for him.

I live in Ardmore, Ok and I have a major lake just 2 miles from my house and I have 2 ponds 1/2 acre each one behind the house the other I front. I know the ponds an not that big for an FE. An I don't mind that 2 mile drive, it's where I go to fly my helis at the flying field. Budget, now there a question? Anything under a $1000 for the boat and running gear inside, minus the batteries. I don't plan on racing, just sport running. Speeds about 40 but below 50 where the hull can take some crashes. I would like to stay 4s for now and have as long of run times as possible with an FE. Plus I'm not dead set on these 3 cats, but I do like the looks of a cat.
If you guys have any other suggestions, I'm all ears.Comment

Kudos on having reasonable and intelligent goals.
Personally, I would eliminate the Genesis from the list. It's better suited for straight line speed and you will be spending more time retrieving it than you would the other two.Comment
