Future cat build, want a hull that will good in the turns too, was thinking cheetah?

I want to build a cat in the future, and want it fast, but to be able to stay in it some on the turns, any susgestions, the fightercat cheetah looks like it may handle well, will probally go with a twin setup in case there is room problems in that hull or one sugested, it looks like a nice hull, I only wish it was a couple inches longer, I think its 34 inches, thanks guys, Shawn.

the Cheetah and the Aeromarine hulls are what you are looking for as far as handling is concerned.

here is Rumdogs twin FE Aeromarine sprint cat in action.

    enjoy.

I have no experience with the FC Cheetah, it looks promising though. I have a lot of experience with several Aeromarine cats, and they handle as well or better than any other catamaran. Unlike all the narrow cats of German origin (and shamelessly copied by the Chinese), these hulls will turn very well, usually at full throttle. The MeanMachine and SprintCat 21 have the same bottom and perform the same - great for 4S setups or low amp 6S. For high 6S+ power, the 34" Sprintcat or Team Believer cats are very good too. My 6S SprintCat would oval race in the high 60s and out-turn the hydros; I won several District races against sport hydros with that model.

Do twins if you really want to - but a single motor is easier and usually cheaper.

Can a single go as fast as a twin?

Absolutely, how fast do you want to go? My 34" SprintCat did 60 mph in oval trim on 6S and a 1527 motor in a racing heat. Never tried to go faster with it on smooth water. With today's motors a single makes more sense unless you just like the idea of a twin...lots of folks do.
