    Setup questions

    Hi everyone it's been a while since I've been on the site just took a break from ex boats to concentrate on drag racing but looking to get back into it and have some questions I just purchased this rigger http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ale&highlight= the owner says on 6s it hit 70 but will do high 60's one of my questions is if the esc is rated for 6s I thought most u can run is 4s he also told me he installed a a bigger motor next size up I believe it's a 4082 or 84 same kv 1800 now if I want to make this a 80+mph what will I need as far as battery wise and prop and is that esc enough or I need a hv esc let me know what u think thanks

    Oh I'm sorry I know someone's gonna ask what am I using the boat for it's just a fun boat I don't need long run times a couple mins is fine just don't wanna burn things up And if I want run times I know I can put a smaller prop to get more run time and less speed

      Specs on that ESC say:
      Up to 20cells NiMH/NiCad or 2 to 6cell Lithium-polymer

        Yes if I remember correctly u should only run up to 4s if it's rated for 6s
