    If you're running 5000 mAh packs, you need to keep your amp draw to around 55 amps. This will drain 4000 mAh's out of your packs, including a little mill time. Meaning, X440 on the prop as a starting point as I don't think a 42 mm prop will keep the amp draw below 65 amps.

    If you have higher capacity packs, then you can work up to the 42 mm props.
    David, I'll likely run Hyperion VX G3, 5000mAh, 35C. I have other choices - depends on what my actual run time is once I get it wet. JIM

      You'd be happier with 6500 to 7500 mAh on board for the offshore class...4 minutes is a long time to run only 5000 mAh packs.
