    cat help

    Hi
I am new to rc boating
I have built a scaled down version of the maxcat (38")
I am very confused as everybody seems to have a different opinion on the power setup.
What motor ,speed controller and prop ,size of rudder and flex drive can be used on this size boat?
    I have a Himark A3630 brushless motor (1000kv) from a plane
that I can make a water jacket for (I am a Toolmaker so making parts is not a problem)
The only way to get "Leopards" and the like in South Africa is to import them yourself, which is not cheap.

    Please help
    Robert

it really depends how much you are going to spend
the flex drive on boats up to about 1M long usually use 3/16 size drive shafts.
    I woulnt use that motor,
to be honest, id look up the genesis builds here and go from that

OSE seems to ship almost everywhere, but its too expensive for the shipping for me. and USPS seems to get slower and slower every time ive used them

They do ship here, but the postage is almost the same cost as the item.
