    hi there Ray having same problem went about 20 ft motor slows down i also am using a seaking 120 i put my hydra 120 on same motor and have no problem i a 3s 5000 30c motor is a seaking 3660 3060kv battery does pretty warm though

      3S on a 3060KV? and a 120 amp ESC... That seems like a lot of RPMs.... Motor isn't too hot? What prop? On a 32" boat to boot? I assume you are pulling way too much juice from batts... I would watch that setup closely for a few runs for sure.

        Not a good motor choice for that size hull. I would highly suggest going a different route in the motor department. That would ok inthat boat if it was a twin, but just as a single motor, not a good choice for that appication. A leopard 3674 1900kv with a 120amp esc and a prather 215, x640 or x642 would work very nicely as a good sport boat. Would lower the amp load and take the stress off of your system. If your packs are coming pack really warm or even very hot, that's a good indication things aren't good. If your packs aren't able to supply the motor with the amps its needs, the esc normally gets caught in the middle and goes poof folllowed soon after by the batteries swelling up.. JMHO..
