It's been 5 long weeks since I let some water in and blew the first HM200. All the pieces have come together & it's time to see if all the waiting has paid off. I sent the KB8L rotor to Pete Z & had the shaft turned down to 5mm and trued. Then I replaced the KB bearings with the upgrade 70K boca's The new HM ESC was completely encapsulated in DP270, water & fan cooled. I finaly got the DPR conveted to 5.5s. I reinstalled the software tonight and cleard all the old mission data. I taped the temp probes to the endbell and the caps on the esc. The readings in those locations should be the most usefull. I removed the X637 and went back to a K40. It's a good thing I have a 200amp esc. 4s fully charged is neer 16 volts which @ 2300kv is going to put me around 36000 rpm unloaded. Thats is for sure on the hot side & the most agressive setup I am attempting to date. The 30 second temp check may be more like a 15. The DPR will tell all. Hopfully Deigo will make it here in time to hit the lake with me tomorrow. Wish me luck!!
