motor shaft
04-15-2008, 09:49 PM
I noticed that the motor shaft on my 9xl has some play in it. The shaft moves in and out approx 3/32''. Is this normal? I assume it isn't. If so is there a fix for it?
Thanks
Kevin

new or old motor?
Is a bearing maybe failing?
Do you use a thrust bearing?

The motor has approx 20 runs on it. I don't use a thrust bearing, just ordered one yesterday.
