R2hobbnies update: THE HORROR!!!

Well, about 1/3 of the goodies I bought from R2hobbies arrived, along with a selection of teflon tube liners I DIDN'T order. After a month of emails with customer service, they "say" they will ship the remaining stuff. BUT, they want me to pay for the teflon tubes at 1/2 price, rather than send them back due to high shipping $!!! Hope they don't hold my remaning shipment hostage until I pay them even more more $ for thier screw up.

This was my third order from R2hobbies - two were screwed up, one was never sent to me & I had my money refunded thru Paypal. I gurantee there will not be a fourth order from me. JIM

Its a gamble i know. I purchased two SK 180A HV from R2. problem is they dont make a HV model. Then i purchased parts and they didnt send becasue of out of stock items. I eventually got my order after paypal threats.
3rd time i just purchased some props and connectors, arrived fast az. So i think its a gamble if your going to get your parts, however opt for the registered post and maybe even pay for the quicker postage with tracking.

I have to understand these companys as they have so many orders and have become so big, screw ups happen in all big companys.
It just really pees me off when i see the same parts on other web sites (exact same china stuff) and they are asking 3 times the price plus postage.

Jim it's wierd you have all these problems with r2. My 17-18'th order from them, without any hassle whatsoever, arrived yesterday. Must have spent $2000+ at their shop by now? They usually ship out within 12-15 hours (just like OSE) which I find pretty awesome. When I order from Hobby King it's always a 5-day wait before they even start thinking about sending me my stuff. I think r2's only problem is their new and painfully slow webpage. That, and the low stock on some parts but them seems to be the case with a lot of webshops.

If I were you I'd never ask them why they sent extra stuff Definitely not when it only was some teflon liners at no money at all.

Anyone that read my post entitled "my experience with R2Hobbies" will learn that I had major problems with them as well. NOT RECOMMENDED.
