Hook up your ESC to lipo power.
It should play a melody.
Plug ESC lead and rx pack lead into program box, both with the side of the plugs where the pics are exposed facing down.
Choose the correct ESC format until you get a beep.

If you hook the prog box up first, then hook the lipos up, the power surge can affect the firmware on the box and you will have to send it in.
