    Rudder depth

Done a search but could not find anything definitive.
Wanted a twin inlet rudder so its fairly large. It has a wide blade but also sits around 80mm (3.15") below sponsons.
Was thinking about cutting a 1" off. its a twin so dont have to worry about prop walk etc.
Hull is 34" long by 13.5" wide
What do you guys think ?

Here you go Ozz,This is mine

The darker one is the exact one you have there and I cut it down to that for my Shocker.
As you can see I tried to improve it and had to get the second one that is already improved.
You can see the why/how here http://fightercat57.freeforums.org/c...97d671b1ab0277

Go to the bottom of the page.

Just thought I'd add that my rudder is 2" below the props after it was cut 1 1/4"
