Where are you fitting the battery? does it fit in between the Spar mounting tubes?
I'm running mine on 2 X 2s packs (4s) with a Leopard 3674 2200kv motor spinning an M645 prop. If that's any help. Your set up should be quicker.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

With no instructions in the kit, i guess the battery pack(s) will have to go between mounting tubes to keep some kind of CG.
I just got the boat yesterday and haven't lay ed out the running pkg. yet. I think my 5s 4200 pack is going to be a little large,
I may have to cut my running time in half to make a different lipo pack fit. I will let you know what ends up working. I was going to start w/octura 40mm? any thoughts on this.

How did you end up going with this?
        Any footage??
Any build / set up tips??
What config of batteries are you guys running, size, brand???

I just added a little fiber glass to the inside of the starboard float (turn fin mounting reinforcement) and around the bottom of the ply insert in the transom as there was a large gap around it and Id rather keep the water out than replace rotten plywood down the track.
Today I will line up and glue in the plywood mount, fit the rear hardware and bend and glue in the stuffing tube.

My plans are to run 4s, 2200kv, 3974 turnigy aquastar, m445 octura (for now)
