    df 25 help

I am looking for a suggestion on what all you guys prefer as a setup in a df26 hull for good top end but not a saw setup,I have heard ul1 blah blah but looking for an alternative to do well on 4s1p.I also saw using lower kv motors on like 45mm props but am leery on that stuff.I wanna go fast but not stupid fast.as well would using a feigao 540xl series motor be too high a cog on this hull mine kinda skipped sideways on this xl setup...maybe a lighter setup would perform better???? suggestions

something with a 2200kv like the castle 1515..i had good results low 50's x642 prop and was a blast to drive.. i could have proped up a bit too.. i noticed that this hull was extremely sensitive to the movement of batteries as well as strut angle took a while to get totally dialed..

Leo 3674 would probably be limit.

I was going to try a 4074 in it but was advised not to. A leo 36XX motor with proper KV with your desired packs would be the best choice. Unless you can afford the more expensive motors.

Well, I thought I was overpowering mine until a few very experienced guys chimed in and confirmed I was not. I can say the motor doesn't get warm at all after a good run

Dang and people thought I was nuts when I put a 4074 in it.

I guess if you had luck like that, do it again!

feigao 8xl and a M445 prop on 4s1p and that boat will be ballistic.
