Looking for help picking out a boat to buy for all fun.

Hey guys. I work at a hobby shop here in IL. I race rc cars onroad and offroad. I have had a few boats. Most were warehouse hobbies gas boats. Loved them but loud and neighbors complained. So i want a fast electric. I have a few project electrics like a super hawaii. I want something for this weekend. Looking at the pro boat stuff. Miss geico or mystic or maybe the motley crew. What do you guys think is a better choice. Will be run on a pretty flat body of water. Maybe a inch or so chop at worst. all my distributers dont have the geico but a other local shop has on on their shelf. So i can get any of those this week. What would you get. NO racing... Thanks guys.

Here you go. This wont need upgrading like a RTR. Runs great. Im 30 miles south of St. Louis and can ship today, so you can be running by this weekend.

I'd go with a impulse. Faster stock than a mg and later you can put a 2200kv motor and esc in to have a 50mph 4s boat.
I like my geicos too but if I had to pick one, I'd pick a mono. Better on choppy days and just as fun on flat days. Jmo

Btw drifter, that motor mount on the df is pretty cool.

I'd second the impulse or an SV27. A mono is a good choice for a first boat as it handles more water conditions than any other hull.

But if you know you want a cat you really can't go wrong with either the proboat or aquacraft models.
