    Need help hitting 70mph

after utilizing several helpful tips from members on this forum, I was able to hit 64.7mph in my Rivercat today. I have a Leopard 4082 1550kv running on 6s Gens Ace 40c 5000 lipos and Turnigy 180a ESC.
The prop i used last was an m545. I like to see what it takes to hit 70mph without changing the electronics in the boat. I assume a bigger prop would help but how big without putting too much load on the electronics. The temps with the m545 is around 105 on the motor and the batteries. The ESC caps were at 120.
What are your thoughts on an m645 prop.
    Thanks

I'd go with the M645 or an X645 - and keep an eye on those temps.JIM

You are playing a bit fast and loose with a T-180 on 6s going with a bigger prop, but it takes power to go 70mph, so as long as you're aware that you are on the edge of pushing it, here are some suggestions:

      Prather s225
      Octura 645

The prather is a bit larger diameter, so you may run into handling issues, I'm not sure. I have had good luck with them on similar boats though.
You may also want to consider ABC props. They have some 1.6 and 1.8p props that will cavitate a bit more on take off, but you can get some killer speeds if the boat is set up right. It kind of depends what you're going for. I wouldn't reccomend the 1.8p prop for sport running, but if you're just looking to get a high speed they might work out.

Do you have a newer ESC with more than three caps? If not I wouldnt risk anymore prop with just the three caps, you may pop 'em. If you have one with more caps, you may try the m645 Jim mentioned.............this is getting close to a saw setup so it should be tried for only a couple passes for your speed goal record...............

Fightercat 5018 is the only one I can think of that will do it.

Thanks for the feed back. I am using the newer 180a esc with the extra caps. I will try out the 645 for the SAW passes. I normally use the m445 for sport runs.
Hopefully the higher speeds wont put too much stress on this hull.
