    Stinger bushings to smal

Brought two 3/16 stingers. both have bronze bushings but one is under size. its not 4mm as a 4.5mm drill bit will just push threw.
What is best way to open it up ?
Can i just buy a 3/16 drill bit and run threw it with out destroying the bushing. Or put some fine grade emery paper on a 4mm drill shaft and try hone it out a bit

5mm and a 4.5mm will barely push thru?

Ream is the best way. I had similar issue with a 1/8" strut. I bought a .001" over reamer. I used some Tap Magic and the ream and the hole came out real SMOOTH.

Drills can be tricky. First off you wont get a real smooth surface with a drill. Also since its close to size it has a tendency to grab and rip the material- pulling it towards center.

If you go forth with a drill clamp the strut down. However I would replace the bronze bearing in question. Its cheaper than a reamer.

        3/16 is 4.78mm
        you'd need 4.85+ else seize !
