My P Mono DF33 weighs about so-so, and the Twin 47" Insane mono
weighs about as much as a Corvair. I have never weighed my boats in any form (nitro or FE)

      Jim,

thanks for the slap in the face to wake me up from my dream land. lol. Really i'm just bored waiting for my new ESC to come which should've been here last week. In my defense, when I was talking about the antenna I meant visually and aerodynamically balanced, in other words I put the darn thing in the center not on the side.

Boredom can lead to fixing things that aren't broken. No need to defend your boredom induced communications skills, been there, done that.

Methinks this thread should be titled "Anyone and Everyone Chine in here". JIM

PS: talk to me about your new ESC - T-180 or better I hope?

Is that a Cummins (or was it Cummings?) diesel in a "real" boat? Had a 4 banger to power a 5K generator on the Webfoot - a 50' dive boat. Twin 671s for the mains. The Cummins was delightfuly noisy but worked flawlessly. JIM

make sure and keep that ESC cool running.
It likes to stay cool to the touch.

and if you already havent done so, order the programming box to go with it.
takes about 15 sec. to program the
esc once it is hooked up to a 3S pack.

Keep the ESC temp <120 degrees if you can. Buy an infared temp gun at Harbor Freight - it will be $50 well spent. JIM

I have a temp gun I used for my nitro boats. I said earlier this is my first FE build. I've built many and all types of nitro and petro boats and even FE's for friends. This is MY first FE build for ME. that means everything will be thought out 10x over and no expense spared. All the other FE boats I built for friends were as cheap and as fast as possible. I like to have fast and right not fast and cheap
