    Running warm

Running a leopard 4074 2000kv on 4s with a x442 prop at 7.5 timing temps. are running around 110F. Will bumping up the timing to 11.25 help the motor run cooler?

it might. altho there are too many variables to determine. your temps seem pretty low actually. you can try going up, and try to "feel" whether or not you like it. prolly wont make a huge difference in temps

You haven't told us what type of hull & how wet it's running, what size & C rating batteries, what type & size of ESC. All these things have a bearing on your temps. Hard to assess without the info.
Being a Y wind motor they can easily handle 15 degrees. That's where I usually run mine. But as Dana said the temp isn't all that high. Too low timing can cause extra heat, the same as too high timing can. Give 15 a try.

Seems like a good solid set up to me. Shouldn't run hot with that prop as long as it's airing out nicely. 15 degrees would definitely be my choice. But you could try 11.25 first & log the differences in temps as you go.
