    genisis torque roll

hi guys;finally got my just finished genisis to the water.here`s the setup;4074-1400kv;6 cells(5000ma,40c).the problem is severe roll on take-off,even moderate acceleration.once up to speed(very quick) it levels out somewhat.i tried a smaller prop,(grimracer l42-66)down to an octura 1740,roll still quite obvious.any suggestions please.

Have you tried rasing the prop up a bit I ran my Rivercat with the 4074 1400KV motor and it would start to rock side to side very bad at first
moving the prop up 1/8" at a time sorted it out.
    might be worth a go.

It's a characteristic of the hull. Mine does it. Once it's up on plane it runs fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

I agrew with jamespl. I'm using a 4082 with 6S and M445 prop. Once it's up on the plane it's fine. Just take it steady accelerating to that point.

Do you have an inline or offset rudder

Mine is currently inline. Would I get less torque roll with offset?

I think it would help also make sure your props are Sharp and balanced.

Its true those hulls will roll they are long and narrow but you can try to limit it as much as you can

I would slowly raise the strut up.... Try it, you have nothing to lose and lots to gain....
