Looking for fast 6S hull suggestions...

Hey everyone. I finally got sick and tired of messing around with my disagreeable Miss Elam (just gave that hull away) so I am looking for something different, maybe a shallow V. Setup is a UL-1 motor, SeaKing 180 and 6S. Any suggestions? Thanks!

While shopping for a hull you might want to seriously reconsider either your 6s choice or a different motor

Why? This setup has tons of runs on it, no problem.

I assume you mean the Delta Force 29? Do you have experience with this hull, and if so can you share? Thank you.

6s, ul-1 motor.... No go. Sorry. Bad choice. Get a proper 6s motor.
              6s1p, or 2p?

The motor has held up very well under 6S power so far. If it goes bad it goes...it is what I have to deal with at the moment. I have all my boat cash tied up in an 8S Genesis. This is more of a bargain setup. I'm using two 3S 4,000/5,000 packs.

the ul-1 motor is rated up to 18.5v max and also at 6s the motor turning over 45k rpms unloaded, but it was just a suggestion.

Thanks, but I am looking for a hull w/ hardware only. I have the electronics already.

Because it is terribley inefficent. There becomes a point of diminishing returns when you use excessive voltage on a motor than doesn't have the power to turn that fast. You're not getting 6s RPM out of that motor, unless you are using a prop that's way too small for that application. You would be surprised how well a proped setup would run.

I certainly agree with you there, but like I said this is kind of a "use what I got" situation. I could certainly upgrade the motor at a later date.

Delta force 29 or 33" cyber storm are great mono hulls very fast. Or a mean machine cat.
Only thing will be what you get away with in a hydro may not work in a mono or cat.

Take you hull money and invest in a real 6s motor. The ul-1 motor is certainly on it's way out if you've been using it on 6s. That will save you a smoked esc, gooey smoked hull and maybe your cells when that motor smokes.
