I've been contemplating them for months now especially the new v2's 920 watts thats a horse and a quarter for hulls like the bj and sv and the 4 poles...

115 bucks for a 60mm motor with only a 100 amp max is the main reason no ones jumping on them. There are pore powerfull motors for much less. Try one and let us know.

I was thinking about the 36-60-2000 KV as a substitute for the Feigao 8XL. It has a smaller can but more max amps.

I know a few heli guys that swear by them... I thought they were overpriced and
a bit weak to be honest...
If they really can put out 920 watts and have a high efficiency then they are better then the Chinese counter parts. If you get one please keep us posted, after all, there is a chance they are a hidden treasure.

I was just checking the graph on their page and it claims it's between 87 and 91% efficient under 29 to 59 amps

Yes that is good. IMO that level of amp draw is found on mild setups like an SV or BJ26. So as a drop in replacement for one fo those boats it "may" be a good upgrade. If you are looking to run a hot setup that efficientcy curve is to low to do you any good.

I have not used any of there motors personally but a number of the guys I fly with do and really really like them. I would consider them a set up in effeciency over some of the asian stuff.

                    Cheers,
                    Jim
