    So you said a DF26 can't 84.1 mph!!! Soon 100mph??!!!

Here is a vid of my DF 26 at 84.1 mph. I need to use my water better so be patient w/ the vid. Best passes at the end. My best pass leaves the camera view to the left. I broke my 3/16 shaft at the end. Lost a prop. I hated that prop. Too much spray needed more work. Also don't drill thru the shaft and tap it for the collet set screw. Doesn't last. 100 mph to come!!! Does anyone have a good used neu 1521 w/ 2900 or 3100kv for sale??? I need one. My new record!! Turn up the volume and listen to the loons and the echo. 7 AM in the morning.

It wasn't the flexy but the 3/16 prop shaft. I drilled thru it and tapped it for the set screw. Had a problem w/ the dog coming loose. Too much load!! Broke it off. I have several more flex shaft made(back up) as I was planning on trying a SAW event to see if I could put some #'s down on paper. MM

Hey Mark, I really wasn't checking but I figured it was close to a record. This is a Q mono boat. Namba record for Q mono is set by YOU at 83. 4 mph. Good job!! I don't think I'll ever run it but sure is cool going fast. I'll have to mail it to someone to run it for me. I just picked up a neu and I should hit a 100 mph maybe?? Who hit 90 in p mono? Now thats impressive. Later, MM.

only a few questions here and i may make some waves here and im not calling you a liar or attacking you but i would like to know what said this was 84.1 mph? if you had a gps in it then its all good but the video doesnt show it as most people claim all these high numbers with no videos to back up their claims? better yet someone behind them calls out these numbers like the 100 mph + traxxas car video i watched but the video didnt show a radar gun as the car speeds by and hes calling out numbers? its a fast boat good job. next thing is you ran the boat a few passes you hear the motor winding out and the boat just gets unstable and just about blowing over then it goes out of the screen for a minute no sound then next thing you see it pass wide open and stable as can be? keep up the good work and remember im not calling anyone liars i would just like to see that little gps with zeros on the screen starting out then finishing out untaping the hatch and the numbers on it.

I didn't show the GPS because it causes conflict. Also not showing it causes conflict. Just can't win. I have zero reason to lie. I'm not going to show any #'s from a gps. I will prove it a SAW event soon. Looking for a event close to home but doesn't look like it will very close. I was going to run it at Flint, Mi. but was concerned about weather so I aborted the effort. The boat is running a 2200kv on 6S 50C batts w/ a m645 which is all bent up w/ some cupping . It only weighs 5.94 lbs loaded. This set up can push a genesis to 80 which weighs alot more. The key is boat stability. Also this is a simple cheap build only $400 for the whole thing except batts, rx/tx. I did a build and want to show my results. Anyway, with the vid I took off on a angle and one pass angled which caused a angled wake out in the lake. As you can see the boat is extremely stable except when hitting waves on a angle. That starts the chimes. The boat can only take small waves or wakes that are directly hit so I parked it for a minute till it flattened out. As a lot of people says it doesn't mean Sh%t till you pass it thru the lights 2x's. I'll show numbers soon. Properly!! I shooting for 100mph for under $1000.

Looking good to me, that certainly looks like an 80+ mph & it calculates to 83.6mph. What make of lipo did you use. Thanks Martin.

Sounds more like poor assembly to me. I have run in the 90s on SAW courses and never broke a shaft or had one come loose....why drill through it? Instead, just make a small flat spot and assemble the drive dog (dog and set screw) with Locktite 603. It will not come loose and you will not be dramatically weakening the shaft by drilling through it.

                            Great effort BTW!
