    up in smoke

    whats up guys,had a little fire in my pro boat mystic,has a hobby king 180 amp ecs and a leopard 3674 motor running 2 sky lipo 3 cell 5000mah,
    was running at the local pond and everything was good plenty of water flowing and it just stopped and started smokeing,got it to shore and opened the
    hatch ecs melted and every thing torched also was running a grim 425x55 prop was i running to much of a setup for that ecs just curious,thanks for any
    help in advance

    white geico w/2200kv 3674 leopard 53.5mph 4s2p, geico w/ 1800kv outrunner 52mph on 4s2p, genesis w/2200kv castle 53.8 on 4s2p, impulse 31 w/2200kv castle, stock p1 and ul-1

      1400kv,been running this set up for 2 weeks no probs at all till yesturday

        You probably have some type of resistance in the flex shaft or bushing causing a excessive load. Lube your shaft. Holding the trigger for 3 min. pinned? I've been beating the poop out of my t180, pulling some amps for sure at short burst and its working like a swiss watch. Thats a good esc. Do you have Extra caps which help? Decent batteries w/ good c rating?? Are you using a BEC or rx pack?? There are alot of factors. Buy new and try it again!! You shouldn't have a problem w/ that setup. IMO. Later, MM.

          everything is cleaned and lubed after each run flex shaft is centered in the tube and im running a bec and i have the extra caps
