Solder Iron Temp Setting?

Hello out there,

Picked up a commercial Weller digital solder iron. Real nice, you can adjust the temps with a turn of a dial.

BUT THE QUESTION IS.....What is a good working temp? Just something I never thought about before, all the other irons were plug and play.

I ran my digital @ 450. Never had a problem. Other than liking my 250 watt gun better.

High as it will go....that's the best. Quick soldering is best.
